Julie Loncich
Julie Loncich came to Fox 59 from WBTW in Myrtle Beach, SC where she was a General Assignment Reporter. Prior to that Julie worked as an Assignment Desk Editor and Field Producer at WPRI/WNAC in Providence, RI. Throughout her career she's covered memorable events such as the busy hurricane season of 2005, and the Station Night Club Fire in Rhode Island.
Julie was raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Journalism. She also studied abroad at both Oxford University in England and the University of Granda in Spain. She is a proud member of Investigative Reporters and Editors and involved with the Poynter Institute.
In her spare time, you can catch Julie spending time with friends, traveling to far-off places and rooting for her hometown Red Sox and Patriots... although she is quickly becoming a Colts fan!
